Lisa Sheppard Shipman

Lisa Sheppard's early training was in Tucson AZ with Richard France. Her subsequent training was with Ruth Page Foundation, Pennsylvania Ballet and Houston Ballet. After apprenticing at Pennsylvania Ballet she danced professionally with Ballet Arizona, Ballet Austin and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and often returned to do the Ruth Page Nutcracker. Lisa was a founding director of Dance Academy of Libertyville and has taught ballet for over 30 years. She and her family are very excited to be back in the Chicago area and back at DAL.
